PWI designs and develops electro-optical instruments for particle sizing in range from 3 nanometer to 3 millimeter. We are seeking experienced engineers to join our friendly team in Goleta, the beautiful suburb of Santa Barbara. Sr. Electronic Engineer with the following qualifications: 5+ years experience in electrical subsystems design for precision measurements or non-destructive testing. Very low noise analog signal processing design. Extensive experience with analog, digital, embedded & PC software, & firmware design. Ability to develop system level requirements & analyze system performance. BSEE required. Sr. Software Engineer with 3+ years experience in embedded software development using C or C++. Experience with software documentation requirements for ISO. Team player. BSCS required. Sr. Optical Engineer Required skills: MSEE or Ph.D. in optical engineering. Proven experience with ZEMAX or CODEV. 7+ years of experience. Application Engineer Required skills: BS in chemical engineering or chemistry. Experience with documentation requirements for ISO and FDA. Duties: extensive communication with customers, evaluation customer needs and requirements, customizing particle samples preparation and particle size measurements.
